I’m wearing a sweatshirt that I got about 15 years ago in high school. All of my sneakers, most of which I still wear, are from high school. I have some short skirts (that I now think are too short) that I got about ten years ago.

I’m just curious. Are there any known solid materials which can maintain a solid state at temperatures a little bit hotter than the surface of the sun?
