Black Friday 2009 – Last Minute Roundup
I have aggregated some of my favorite 2009 Black Friday articles around the web going into the busiest shopping day of the year. Let’s do this!

Dirty Secrets of Black Friday ‘Doorbusters’ – Parija B. Kavilanz from CNNmoney.com discusses some of the dirty secrets retailers use to lure in customers. If you do not read the fine print on the ads, you may be in store for a very large disappointment. Many “Doorbusters” are in fact in limited quantity. We’re not talking, 200 units per store, we’re talking 2 to 10 units per store. If you have your eyes targeted on a specific doorbuster item, make sure you do your due diligence before hand.
Holiday Shopping: Tips for Black Friday and Cyber Monday – Miranda Marquit at Moolanomy.com offers some great tips on how to tackle Black Friday and Cyber Monday. She offers a key tip that I can’t stress enough: you need to coordinate with other shoppers (ie friends, family, etc). If you have a team working for you, you can focus on fewer items instead of a shopping list of goods.
Black Friday 2009 Free Stuff – Madison from MyDollarPlan.com created a list of many places that are giving away free stuff if you shop there. FREE is good!
Black Friday Holiday Shopping: Just Say No to Coupons, Free Shipping, and Deals – To round it up we have your conscious, Vincent Scordo. He is like me in a way. We both believe in the Wants vs Needs debate. Just because there is some stellar deal on a brand new HDTV, it doesn’t mean it’s time to go out there and buy it. Ask yourself this, “Do you need it?” If your answer is not an emphatic “YES!”, then your best bet is to sleep in.
Have a Great Thanksgiving everyone! Stay safe, stay full, and give lots of thanks.
