Rules for The Zen Capitalist DECEMBER Stock Contest

Why Should I Enter?

• It is FREE and uber EASY to enter.
• This is our first ever contest.  The winner will go down as the first winner in The Zen Capitalist history.
• It’s a fun learning experience.
• Bragging rights!
• Contest Leaders will be posted on The Zen Capitalist and updated on a weekly basis (Sundays).
• The cool kids do it!

How to Enter

• Entries will only be accepted between November 16th and by the end of November 31st stock market close (1PM PST / 4PM EST)
• Stocks under $10 will not be accepted.  If the stock trades below $10 by the end of the November 31st market close, it will automatically be thrown out.
• The price of the stock at the end of November 31st market close will be the starting point
• ONLY stocks will be accepted.  No ETFs, Mutual Funds, Index Funds, etc.
• Once the stock has been selected by a previous participant, it is OFF limits.  I will be checking time stamps and be posting taken tickers 2-3 times a week
• If you receive an email that states the stock has already been taken, you may put in another entry.
• Submissions can be made HERE
  • REQUIRED INFO – Your handle (name), email address, and stock ticker
  • Only 1 submission per email

How to Win

• The participant that chose the stock with the HIGHEST APPRECIATION by the end of the December 31st trading day will be declared the winner.
• We will be rounding to the nearest hundredth.

What do I receive if I win?

• You will be the FIRST ZEN CAPITALIST STOCK CONTEST Winner!
• Your handle (name) and winning ticker will be admitted into our Contest Hall of Fame
• We will give you 200 characters of space to write anything about anything**
